Performance of the play and launching of the book The Verdict, written by Valeria Parrella and translated from the Italian by Loredana Merenda, with Lisa Sparkman in the role of Clytemnestra.
Lisa Sparkman studies drama in the Drama Department of York University and specializes in acting and design. She has participated in the Sears Drama Festival of 2010 in the play Just Change by Milana Demisic and the year after, in the same festival, in the play The Catastrophe by Sarah Atwell. In 2012, Lisa acted in Two Foreign Women, a play taht precedes The Verdict with regard to thematics.
Loredeana Merenda studied at York University, specializing in Italian literature and went on to obtain a Masters in Translation from Glendon College, York University. From a very young age, Loredana felt a great love of languages and an interest in studying the classics. Presently, she plans to dedicate herself to literary translation, while working in the field of communication media.
