Marzena Walkowiak, PhD, has been involved in promoting Spanish language and Hispanic culture since she came to Toronto from Poland in the 1980s. She has written numerous academic papers, volunteered in the Hispanic community and taught at various universities and colleges in Canada.
To keep in touch with Hispanic culture and practice her linguistic and intercultural skills, together with Susana Ventura she runs EL TURISMO LITERARIO, a radio programme on the community radio station “Voces Latinas” CHHA 1610 AM where all the Spanish speaking people interested or involved in literature and arts are invited every last Sunday of the month, from 7 pm to 8 pm..
